A new build nestled on Hunger Mountain in a very desirable location . Close to Waterbury, Stowe, and Burlington. Easy access the best nature, biking, skiing, hiking, golf, and leaf peeping. An architecturally designed, private mountain front retreat with modern kitchen, furnishing and soaking tub. Close to Trapp Family lodge, Bolton, Cochrans, Sugarbush, and the Mad River Valley. Bike to Stowe on backroads directly . Burlington airport is only 35 min away. Enjoy this contemporary designed space with clean lines. A Simple yet functional design with high ceilings , oak floors, and open floor plan connects the dining living and kitchen areas . It is a highly efficient sustainable build which is heated and cooled by solar energy with battery backup. Heated tile floors in the bathrooms . The house borders a protected wildlife corridor and features large floor to ceiling windows throughout bringing the outside in and inside out. You are closely connected with the natural setting . There is a pellet stove for cold winter nights . The house is well insulated with triple pane windows providing privacy along with a Sonos surround system for movies and streaming music. Sleep comfortably on wire cutters # 1 rated hybrid beds . You will have sole access to the entire house. Fast internet 100 Plus MBPS for remote working . A standup desk and large 32” computer monitor with USBC cable / HDMI allow reliable remote work without the need to travel with monitor . This is a private location. There is a small alpine cabin /guesthouse completely detached from main house 75 ft away where I live if I’m not traveling for work. Occasionally the small alpine cabin may be rented but not often. The design and building layout including views/aspects help to ensure privacy. I'm always respectful of guests , but If you need me I’m available and enjoy helping other enjoy the area. Having grown up here, I also have family in the area if you need help/or local area recommendations. WINTER ONLY : Snow storms in Vermont winters can be unpredictable. Roads take time to clear. The road will be plowed, but timing can be variable . Access to the house is typically fine in a snowstorm. All wheel drives or 2WD's with snow tires get the job done. Rental/City cars with bald/ basic radial tires will be challenged on any road in Vermont with snow. The house is on a single lane dirt road less than 1/4 mile long. Stay in the middle on the crown as you drive up/down. Do not pull off the side in the winter as you run the risk of getting stuck. If you need to park at bottom of driveway due to severe weather/tires this is an option. LMK
