Summary:
Welcome to Sullivan Lake! You are also able to access Platte Lake as well which has very good fishing and recreation as well. This is a a quaint rustic family cabin offering privacy and lots of beautiful shade. The lake bottom is hard and is swimmable. This cozy 2 bedroom cabin also offers a pullout sofa in the screened in porch area. Welcome to the lake country! This lake cabin is only 20 minutes from the Brainerd Lakes area. Come and relax in this cozy rustic retreat.
The Space:
This original rustic family cabin is nestled on the shores of Sullivan Lake.
Cabin features 2 bedrooms.
* Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and an independent AC unit.
* Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with the lower bunk being a full size double bed, upper is a single bunk and there is another separate pop-out single bed. This bedroom also has a window AC unit.
* The 3 season porch area has a pullout sofa for sleeping. There is no AC in this room but it does feature many windows with lake views and breezes.
Lake shore is a hard bottom and is swimmable. This property does not have a sand beach however the lake bottom there is a sand and gravel mix so it does make for swimming. The boat in the pictures is not for rent. You are able to tie up your boat on the dock, please watch the weather. The public access is on the east end of the lake.
There is no garbage service available, there is a trash compactor in the kitchen you are welcome to use. Once compacted you will need to purchase Red Bags at Bear Trax Hardware store (26485 370th Ave Hillman) which is 9 miles away. These are then able to be used and taken to Bear Trax Hardware store and dumped in their dumpster at $4/bag. Please note you do need to take your garbage with you at this property as there is no garbage pick up.
Sullivan lake offers good fishing and recreation. Again this is a small rustic family cabin with cozy charm and peaceful views from the cabin.
