Summary: We stayed at the Sparrows Nest for my son’s wedding. I can’t express how much Sherry (the host) went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. She communicated with us and was extremely helpful and understanding with our families dog (who is a tad reactive). The little thoughtful items that are around the house. (Extra toothbrush in case you forgot yours, items for your pet, fenced in back yard). Besides all that, they have a lovely nature path through their fields where you can walk and enjoy the flowers. (I enjoyed watching the birds and butterflies) it was a nice quiet getaway for a very hectic but beautiful weekend. It is located around a few different towns which offer food. I use the Wild Daisy hair salon in Leonard as well as the cafe across the street from them. Both were amazing. If you are going to be in the area and need a place 9 minutes from Leonard TX. I would 100% recommend the Sparrows Nest.
