Pelican Sands 401 is located on the 4th floor and offers breath taking 270 degree views from Coolangatta to Surfers and the hinterland. The apartment is bright and beachy with comfortable, stylish furnishings throughout. There are 2 bedrooms & master with queen bed and private balcony with ocean views and the second bedroom with 2 single beds, a pull out trundle bed and a private balcony.
There are also 2 bathrooms and internal washer and dryer for your convenience.
The apartment is open plan with the well equipped kitchen leading through to a bright and spacious including an air-conditioned living area . The apartment features 3 separate balconies including a beachfront balcony with unrestricted panoramic ocean views. This is the perfect spot to whale watch in winter, or take in the spectacular scenery year round.
You won't have to leave the resort with amazing facilities including outdoor lap pool, heated spa and sauna, gym, barbecue area and games room. There are also beautifully landscaped gardens providing direct beach access to the golden sands of Tugun Beach.
Pelican Sands is located right on the beachfront and is only a few minutes walk to a patrolled section of the beach.

Keys are to be collected from and returned to our office at 76 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Our office is an approximate 9 minute drive south of the property and 6 minute drive south of the GC Airport

Holiday properties are equipped with blankets/ doonas and pillows and protectors, however please remember to bring your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Linen can be hired at a reasonable cost; we will provide details once your booking is confirmed. We also suggest you bring with you soaps, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc.

Summary: Apartment was a little dated (which is fine) but appeared very clean with beautiful views. Unfortunately we weren’t aware it was the only apartment in the complex not managed by the onsite building management so felt a little awkward on arrival (although reception was friendly). The disappointment for us was the lack of facilities as described - appears to just be a miscommunication however we were unaware the pool, spa, sauna and games room were all closed for renovations. The staff at GCHH appeared to not be aware either, they apologized and did try to assist with a small discount if we stayed however we made the decision to leave staying at a more family friendly property not too far away. Traveling with a young family we chose this property for the on site facilities so was disappointing they weren’t available. On the other hand we appreciate miscommunications May happen but would’ve preferred a more substantial discount. We were lucky we could re-pay for our holiday elsewhere but not everyone would be in that position so it could easily have lead to a poor experience. Booking process was easy and the welcome pack was a nice touch.
