Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Cool and hip vibe and decor! Relaxing spot and close to places in town to eat at and see. Not a far bike ride or drive to the water and beautiful sunsets down at the Pier that you don't want to miss. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to and gave great suggestions on where to eat. Good amenities (sauna, cold plunge pool, yard games, live music, bikes, fire pit). All in all it was a nice spot to stay for a couple nights.
Negative: They did great executing the vibe, decor and some amenities, but they missed the mark when it comes to functionality, mainly with the rooms. The bathrooms are tiny so the space in it needs to be used better. A shelf under the sink for your toiletries, extra toilet paper, etc..would be better than having a basket with a hair dryer in it. There needs to be 2 shelves above the toilet to put things on and a couple more hooks to hang a hand towel or your clothes on rather than off the bathroom window crank! The light bulbs in the lamps are very dim and need to be brighter so you can read at night and see. More hangers are needed and an iron and ironing board as well. Providing some hooks near the door to hang your swim towels and swimsuit on to dry would be helpful. As for the outside area, it was well thought out and lots to do. It's a small property so not a huge outdoor space but what they did with it is inviting and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is to put in stepping stones in the area where the seats, pool and sauna are as the rocks are very hard to walk on with bare feet. Also an umbrella on the pool deck since it's full sun there the entire day. All in all the feel of the place and amenities they provided were good. It's the smaller details that need to be ironed out and worked on.
