With spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, and an equally spectacular vista of The Pentland Hills from the front of the property, the holiday cottage is attached to Midkinleith Farm above Currie, 8kms from the centre of the city of Edinburgh. We have a twin bedroom, one large bathroom with shower, a second smaller bathroom, a lounge with sofa bed and a kitchen with all the facilities you would need. There is wi-fi and gas central heating, a large screen TV and box full of games. There is a large play barn with table tennis, snooker, darts and table football.

Summary: My mom, 2 brothers and me stayed at this beautiful little cottage for 5 nights. It’s away from all the hustle and bustle and close to the Pentland Hills. The cottage has everything you need and Richard and Dawn were very helpful, making sure our stay was perfect! I’d 100% recommend this place if you’re after a quiet place, ready for a wind down holiday. It was easy enough to take Ubers to town, especially sharing costs with all 4, but it’s also reasonably close to public transport if you’re with a smaller group. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing of our stay and would happily stay again next time I’m in Edinburgh! Thank you Richard and Dawn!
