**Please note - bunk room is located in the back of detached garage, which is connected to the main house by a breeze way (see photos). The yard is fenced in for safety and privacy.
GOLF CART REQUIREMENTS
- A golf cart renter agreement, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance is legally required in order to rent this property. This must to be completed within 48 hrs of booking (or immediately, if reservation is confirmed within 48 hrs of arrival). Booking guest will need to supply valid email address in order for this information to be collected. See House Rules. Reservation is subject to cancellation if these requirements are not completed. Check-in information and access to home will not be granted without completing these requirements.
- This property requires a $200 security deposit hold for the golf cart, and will be collected separately by the hosts prior to check-in.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- We prepare the home with sufficient supplies (not just a starter kit). Please be aware you may need to replenish supplies depending on party size and duration of stay.
- Places to rent bicycles nearby.
- External security camera on property for guest and property safety. Tampering with camera is prohibited.
EARLY CHECK IN/LATE CHECK OUT
We do not guarantee ANY early check in, or late check out. We often have guests departing and arriving the same day. If the home is available for an early check in, or a late check out, we will do our best to accommodate the request. This accommodation would be subject to additional fees, as this requires an adjustment in our booking and cleaning schedules.
BEFORE CHECK-OUT
A few things that are helpful, and appreciated:
- Load last minute dishes and start the dishwasher. Our cleaning team with unload and put them away.
- Toss a load beach towels into the washer and start the cycle. No need to wash other linens.
- If grill was used, preheat and clean off debris, turn OFF propane tank, and replace cover.
POLICIES
1) Due to insurance restrictions, the minimum age to rent is 25 years old. You will be asked for verification of ID (selfie with ID). Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
2) A signed renter agreement is required for this property, and will be requested from host separately after booking. Reservation is subject to cancellation should renter agreement not be completed. Check-in instructions will NOT be provided without completion. The person signing the renter agreement must be the person who is making the reservation.
3) A street legal, 6-seater golf-cart is included with the reservation. The primary guest is required to electronically sign the Golf Cart Rental Agreement, provide valid Drivers License, and proof of auto insurance. These items will be collected separately after booking and require a valid email address. Primary guest must also acknowledge they have viewed the informational YouTube video outlining appropriate vehicle usage. If this agreement is not completed within 48 hours of booking, the reservation will be cancelled, and refunded according to our cancellation party. The golf cart is solely owned and operated by Destin Beach Rentals LLC. Owner assumes no liability, and all issues must be brought to the attention of Destin Beach Rentals LLC. All drivers must be 21 years of age, and possess a valid driver's license. The person signing the golf cart renter agreement must be the person making the reservation.
4) This property requires a $200 security deposit credit card hold for the golf cart. Credit card and contact information will be collected separately by the hosts. The hold will take place 3 days prior to check in. Check-in information will not be provided if the security deposit hold is not completed. The hold will be released 2 days after check-out. The card name must match the person who has made the reservation.
5) Optional pool heating available for $60/day between months of October and March, max temperature of 85F degrees. The pool heater will be on for the entire duration of the reservation, so cost will correlate with reservation duration. Request and payment for pool heating must be completed > 24 hours before check-in. Guests are prohibited from making changes to, or tampering with, any pool equipment/settings.
6) No parties of ANY kind are allowed. Violation of this will result in additional fees, and immediate removal without refund. We ask that you respect our quiet hours which are from 10:00pm - 7:00am. This includes no usage of the pool during quiet hours. Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbances caused to other residents in the neighborhood.
7) No smoking or vaping (of any kind) are allowed ANYWHERE on the premises. Any violation of the no smoking policy will result in a $250 per day fee, and immediate removal without refund.
8) No pets are allowed on the property. Any violation of the no pet policy will result in a $250 per day fee, and immediate removal without refund.
9) Maximum occupancy is 12 guests, which is strictly enforced due to Walton County's short term rental regulations. NO EXCEPTIONS. Violation of this will result in additional fees ($150 per guest/per night); and immediate removal of all guests without refund.
10) There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty, swim at your own risk. No glass is allowed in the pool area.
11) The following items are not allowed to be put down drains, or flushed down toilets. These items can cause significant damage: grease, cooking oil, glass, metal (including razor blades or needles), plastics (such as toys and utensils), sanitary napkins or tampons, seafood shells, fish scales, diapers, rags, hair, or clothing of any kind, heads from toilet cleaning wands, wipes or towelettes of any kind (including baby wipes, cleaning cloths, medicated cloths, sanitizing napkins, or Q-Tips). Any repair costs for damages due to putting prohibited items in drains or down toilets will be passed on to the guest through the resolution center.
12) The propane grill is not to be moved from the front yard to the back yard, due to the proximity to the state park and fire risk.
13) Please remove sand and allow any wet pool or beach items to dry outside before bringing them inside. There is a water faucet under the breezeway to rinse off any sand.
14) We provide quality linens and amenities for the use of our guests. Should items become damaged or missing, we will request compensation via the resolution center. Our cleaners inspect all items after each guest checkout, and document damaged or missing items.

15) Check out is at 10:00 AM. It is very common to have same day check-ins, so our cleaning team promptly arrives to prepare for our next guests. Staying beyond the check out time will result in a late checkout charge, and our cleaners will still enter the home as scheduled. Early check-ins or late check-outs are not guaranteed, and not an option during peak season (May through August).
