Welcome to the REEL N REST in Hackberry Louisiana! Enjoy stunning views and fishing off the dock at our spacious home, With 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a convenient half bath downstairs, it's ideal for families and friends seeking relaxation and outdoor fun. We sleep 14 in actual beds and the loft area is perfect for an air mattress for additional guests. If the fishing is what brings you to Hackberry we can recommend a guide. If you already have one, you can have them pick you up on our dock. If you are bringing your own boat we have plenty of parking for your trailer, and the public launch is nearby. Just want to fish off the dock no problem we have some poles you can use. We also have washer boards, Horse shoe games and a charcoal grill so you can enjoy the day by the water. Summary: Real and rest Vrbo… Fantastic stayWe just checked out of this fantastic Louisiana lakefront home. Our five day stay over Christmas 2024 was one for the books. First of all the home is spotless well designed from a structural and utility perspective. What a great place to spend time with family and friends on the lakefront. Everything that was listed about this property is absolutely true and presented in a spotless manner. During our stay, we were blessed with two fishing days with James Boudreau, a guide from the Hackberry area., arranged by our host. The guiding service for four of us created an opportunity for family members who have never gone fishing for redfish, trout, halibut, etc., etc. got a first class opportunity to learn about local culture and the great fishing experience available at Calcasieu Lake.. Everything they say about the rod and reel opportunities for Fishing is at your doorstep in this fabulous house. You can literally step off their your beautiful dock onto your guided fishing experience and be deposited back there at the end of the day. Fabulous. We caught and ate our fill of trout halibut and Red Fish. We intend to come back and do this all over again. Our host was very responsive and helped us get everything going for the holiday. What a great time. Highly recommend this property and the surrounding Hackberry/fishing community for a real Honest to God lakefront fishing experience. Well done. Tens and tens from my perspective.
