Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host family made us feel incredibly welcome. They were warm, accommodating, and spoke excellent English, which made communication a breeze. The home itself was perfect for our family of five—spacious, comfortable, and full of charm. We especially appreciated how the original character of the house was preserved while incorporating modern updates. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay, which made things so convenient, especially with kids. The outdoor space was a highlight for our children. The garden and pool were beautiful and well-maintained, giving the kids a safe and fun place to play and unwind. We brought our own floaties, goggles, and beach towels, which came in handy for pool time. The staff also went above and beyond by providing us with great recommendations for local, family-friendly restaurants and activities in the area. Having grocery stores nearby made shopping easy, and for military families, it’s worth noting there’s an Esso station about eight minutes away for tax-free fuel in Belgium. ** Air force base located approximately 20mins from location, for Exchange and commissary use ** Upon arrival, we were given a helpful tour of the property and instructions on the €250 damage deposit, which was straightforward—just a quick trip to the ATM. It was fully refunded at checkout with no issues. Overall, this was a fantastic stay for our family. We felt right at home and would highly recommend this Airbnb to other families looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located place to stay!

Negative: No dislikes to note, more of a tip. In the photos we included a photo of the beautiful spiral stairway that led to the entrance of the apartment. Just keep that in mind when packing items and or luggage.
