Positive: Though compact, it had everything we needed. Very thoughtful items left for guests, like shower gel, liquid soaps, teabags, milk sachets, a selection of very clean cutlery, crockery, glasses & cooking implements, washing up stuff (brush, scourer, liquid, tea towel, kitchen towel etc.), plenty of loo rolls & cleaning products. The TV was good & easy-ish to use, including Netflix and the Location was excellent (near the bus stop to Saltdean where our friends live & into central Brighton), and exceptionally quiet, a real bonus with us ! Good shower and hot water as needed. Duvet & velour blanket a good combination for the Summer. The bed was firm, but large & fine for us. The initial Key collection was clear & straightforward. An 11am vacate time was welcomed on a BH Monday. Overall a very comfortable & relaxing stay & the owner was very friendly & helpful.
Negative: It was a little cramped as you came in the Door to the Studio Room. Almost straight into the foot of the bed ! And one side of the bed, by the window, you had to climb out at the bottom. The pillows were far too hard, high & lumpy for me (Ikea). I put a couple of small cushions into my pillowcase instead. Much softer & lower. My husband was OK with them. A side light that can be turned off from in bed would be good..it was in the far corner. A side light or two at the 'Lounge/ Kitchen' end would be a good alternative to the very bright ceiling lights. The bathroom sink is too small & we kept knocking our heads on the cabinet mirror. Cleaned our teeth in the kitchen sink in the end.
