Positive: This house is everything we wanted it to be. The open floor plan of the first floor creates a roomy, fun place to hang out, prepare a meal and eat together. On second floor, all three bedrooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. The master bedroom is especially lovely with its spacious screened balcony and luxurious bathroom. The second floor also has a nice hall bathroom and a laundry room. The house has a front screened porch and a wonderful back screened porch. The back screened porch has a dining area (great for breakfast) and a sitting area where we enjoyed a lovely view of palm trees, grassy dunes and the ocean beyond. Also on the back screened porch we found sand toys, beach chairs and beach umbrellas available for our use. A wooden walkway took us to the ocean and to the paths that run along the dunes and through the community. The sandy backyard also has a grill and a fire pit area with chairs. The location of the house is great! Close to the ocean and an easy walking distance from the pool and Windmark Village Center, where you can do a little shopping and get a sandwich, ice cream or a cocktail. The house would be fun for adults or families. We had a three generation trip including a toddler, and the house is very kid-friendly with room to run around, rounded corners on the tables and a cute step stool in the first floor powder room. The house is beautifully furnished, casual but elegant. I really enjoyed the artwork throughout the house, especially the nature oriented pieces by Leslie Peebles and Nora Butler.
Negative: At the front of the house, we found the placement of the screen door at the top of the steps with no landing and no rail close by to be a bit treacherous for small children and old ladies.
