Welcome to Sula House, your perfect retreat in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy the comforts of a stylishly appointed historic home on a private, one acre parcel, with access to 50 acres of recreational trails at Fulmine Farm and a short walk into the town of Little Washington. Outdoors
The property includes one fully fenced acre, with rolling lawn, a kitchen garden, and plenty of room for entertaining. The green gate leads to the farm, with 50 fenced acres of forest and pastoral trails, stream and pond access.
The first floor has a wrap around screened porch with multiple seating areas perfect for morning coffee or working remote. It’s 3 steps up to the front porch, but the side walkway allows you to enter the rear kitchen door at grade.
The back patio off the kitchen has dining table that seats 6, a fire pit with built in seating, and a gas grill. There is plenty of stocked firewood and string lights for enjoying evenings under the stars.
Kitchen
The kitchen is stocked beyond your wildest chef’s dreams. Dining table seating for 6-8, 18 feet of granite countertop, double ovens, gas cooktop, quiet dishwasher, large sink, Kitchen Aid stand mixer with attachments, Vitamix, Instapot, coffee maker, and toaster. Ample cookware, dishware, serving platters, and glasses for entertaining. Multiple different sets and large format beverage servers, coolers, additional chairs and tables etc. available for your use if you are styling an event. Many spices and some staple pantry items are also provided. There is a kitchen garden with perennial herbs for your use.
Living room
The cozy living room features original rough hewn log cabin walls, 50 inch smart TV, large couch, two fully reclining & spinning arm chairs, and a lightweight desk and task chair that can be moved anywhere. Children’s dining table and benches available upon request.
Bedrooms
All beds have luxury memory foam mattresses, both firm foam and soft faux-down pillows, 100% cotton sheets, and coverlets. In cooler weather, there are also faux-down comforters and cotton blankets.
