Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Was in the woods so felt like little mountain getaway. Very calm and quiet. Great view of the stars at night and you could see a small spot of the lake from top balcony. Decent basic place equal to a basic hotel but more space for more people.
Negative: No AC. Durning warmer months this house gets very warm midday to evening and there is no air. There were 2 box fans but one had a broken blade other one smelled like it was burning. The room with balcony had a ceiling fan but one of those blades are broken this can actually be seen in the listing photos so it’s not bothered to be replaced. There was a table fan that even on high was a medium push of air at best. So one fan for the entire house. There was a tv in main living room and one in an upstairs room. Main tv has very asic cable. The do have a dvd player but no dvds are supplied. Upstairs tv couldn’t be figured out how to set it up. The downstairs is wood flooring but how ever it’s cleaned still leaves your feet black when walking around. The kitchen did not have a can opener but had 3 wine bottle opener there were no basic spices so any cooking you will need to buy all spices including salt and pepper. All dishes are glass so not little kid friendly dishes available. The upstairs bathroom shower fairly small and the draining was awful. Most of the shower you will be standing in a few inches of water and there was left over hair floating around. Quite a few of the outlets need to be replaced. You plug anything in the fall out so they aren’t really working. The outlet in bathroom upstairs had a night light but the plug only works when light is on. Balcony room outlet by door doesn’t work there was one outlet behind dresser and one by sliding glass door. The one behind bed was pretty much not accessible. The lamp by beside the bed is broken the bulb broke off inside it so fire hazard. There is a lot that needs to be repaired in the house. b
