Our house is a minute walk from one of the many beaches you will find on the lake. Take a Kayak or the canoe from the house and go on an adventure. Sit back and relax on the deck with gorgeous views of the lake and fire up the grill. Roast marshmallows and gather around the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy the outdoors and check out Ossipee Mountain- the highest point of land in the area at 1,058 feet. The Waterboro Barrens Preserve offers an assortment of hiking trails. The house offers a fully equipped kitchen, inviting living room, three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. Summary: The lake was beautiful (although could not see from house very well) but the house was less than stellar. It was dirty, tons of bugs, mold, dust and overall very campy as opposed to a "house.". Did not fit 9 guests comfortably. Only 4 towels, 4 rolls of toilet paper, kitchen not well stocked. House listed as sleeps 11. Bearly held 9. For a 7 night stay this was not even close to enough supplies. Bed mattresses were stained, the bathroom towels had stains, windows missing screens, kitchen table only had 6 chairs. Pots, pans and kitchen items dirty and rusty. Wall AC units were loud and made noises. Ligh bulbs were out, dishwasher did not work well. Overall this was a more cabin/camping experience than staying in a nice lake house. Clubhouse , playgrounds, etc... were not close to house and were not very nice. We made the best of it but it did not live up to the pictures and description.
