The Rectory Lacock is a Grade II listed Victorian building built in 1866. Sitting in 6 acres of private Wiltshire countryside, the Rectory is just a 2 minute leisurely walk from the heart of the medieval National Trust village of Lacock.
The two holiday cottages are in the grounds of the Rectory, where our guests have the privacy of their own dedicated patio area and a separate private garden, exclusively available to our cottage guests. Each cottage has two bedrooms and all of the facilities that our guests would expect to find in good quality self-catering accommodation.
The beautiful village of Lacock is a firm favourite for film and TV producers due to its notably picturesque streets and historic cottages, all unspoilt by modern alterations. The village has been used as a setting for Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Cranford and Harry Potter. Very recently, the village has been used for the filming the final Downton Abbey movie in Sep 2018.
The cottages are also ideally suited to people visiting the local area including Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat.
