Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Small end of terrace house in a moderately deprived area. It has bags of potential but would benefit from a rethink and some basic facilities such as bedside tables, reading lights and a few electric sockets. The host was lovely and helpful and was immediately available when a couple of things went wrong, getting it fixed quickly.
Negative: Property was smaller than expected and would not easily accommodate 4 adults, in particular dining table and lounge seats. Regarding the description it caused expectations that were not realised. There is no garden to view, I did not see a desk, there is no seating area other than the lounge that can only accommodate 4, outdoor furniture is a 2 seat bench, the private pool is a considerable exaggeration being an unheated, unfiltered bath on the back yard. The heating did not cope with the low temperatures and the bathroom was freezing. The apartment had lots of ornaments and decorative features but these used up most of the available shelf and floor space leaving little room for visitor belongings. The water was scalding hot and could be a danger for children.
