Summary: The views are really breath-taking and the terraces are amazing. The reason for the 3 stars is what can only be described as sewer stench that permeates the entire house, especially penetrating in the master bedroom (lower floor), stairwell, dining room (upper floor). Even airing it out with all of the windows open did nothing to eradicate the intense Paris sewer smell. When I asked the property manager about it, she shrugged and told me, "it only happens when the wind hits just right". In reading back through other reviews, this has been an issue for a long time and the owner continues to ignore or downplay the extreme unpleasantness. If we weren't staying a short time, I would have moved to a different location. Also, we experienced power outages. Apparently, you can't use 3 burners and the washer and dryer at the same time. The master bathroom has ants and the tub is unusable due to lack of hot water plumbing to the tub. Don't forget the tourist tax of 1.10 euro in cash for those over 16 which we were not told about until late the night before our departure. The property manager was not very friendly and the owner was friendly via texting.
