Summary: This is a two-part review...the condo itself was lovely...clean, comfy, cozy, very well and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, gorgeous view. The condo itself is 5 star and highly recommended. The sign up and lack of a key advertised amenity along with the responsive but not helpful property manager replies were frustrating. For signing up, be prepared to fill out an HOA form similar to an apartment lease and to provide the form and your ID to the property manager via VRBO messaging. The elevator...which we were very reliant upon and paid a premium to have as an amenity was not functioning....literally two minutes prior to check in the property manager informed us it was temporarily out of order. In speaking with neighbors it has been out of order for more than 7 weeks with no clear answer regarding repairs...this should have been disclosed. Overall, The Strand is a great, secure community with a beautiful view and nice location.
