Nestled on a private corner lot, this comfortable 3BR/3BA home offers two separate living spaces and two spacious screened-in porches overlooking the private and generously-sized pool. The seclusion of the St. George Plantation is enhanced by the surrounding vegetation and beautiful landscaping of the property.
The first floor includes two bedrooms separated by a comfortable living space with a 48” flat screen TV. The king bedroom has a private full bath and the second bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath. Both bedrooms, as well as the living area, open onto the large, screened-in porch which overlooks the pool. Chairs, a chaise lounge and hammock chair offer a quiet space to lounge and enjoy the Gulf breeze.
The second floor offers another king bedroom with full bath, access to the screened-in porch as well as the open and inviting living area. Comfortably furnished with ample seating, the living space has a 39” full - motion wall mounted TV to maximize viewing. The fully furnished kitchen with granite counter top,12-cup percolator AND Keurig single-cup coffee maker, and breakfast seating for two is located just off the living area (please note, no ice maker available). . The large dining table for six doubles as a gathering space for meal time and perfect game table. The upper level screened porch, accessible from dining and living area, has an outdoor table for six as well as comfortable seating to enjoy morning coffee or five o’clock cocktails. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the neighborhood and the lush vegetation as you look out over the tall pines and palm trees.
In addition to central heat and air conditioning, this lovely home offers multiple ceiling fans (including the porches) for warm-weather comfort. The entry foyer houses a washer and dryer as well as two separate entrances to the outside. Other amenities at “Happy Ours” include a park-style charcoal grill, outdoor shower enclosure, fish cleaning station, covered entry and under-house parking.
The gated pool area is a wonderful place to spend a warm, sunny afternoon. A shaded cabana area with large porch swing provides a respite from the heat or you can sunbathe and relax poolside.
The beautiful white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico can be easily accessed via two community beach boardwalks. A five minute leisurely stroll along the residential roads and two short blocks will find your toes in the sand!
The advantages of staying inside the St. George Plantation include miles of bike paths, walking trails, access to fishing at Bob Sike’s Cut, and being minutes from the serene Gulf beach. There is also a kayak launch at Nick’s Hole to access Apalachicola Bay. Bikes and kayaks may be rented from one of the island outfitters by the day or week and are a wonderful way to explore the beautiful surroundings.
The nearby St. George Plantation clubhouse offers a community lap pool, fitness center, and tennis court. Plantation logo wear is available at the clubhouse office and staff available to assist M-F 9-5. You will find yourself at the steps of this beautiful clubhouse with just a short five minute walk or quick bike ride; one block east of Denise Ct. Additional amenities within the Plantation include three dedicated pickle ball courts on Sea Pine, a beautifully designed full size pool with gradual entry at Resort Village, and a second tennis court located off Leisure Lane and Pelican Ct.
